Unsigned books: You can return unopened, unused books within 14 days of delivery.

Signed or personalised books: Because each copy is customised, these are non-returnable unless the item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or we sent the wrong title/edition. This aligns with UK/EU rules for customised goods.
2) Damaged, defective, or wrong item

We’ll offer a replacement or a refund once we confirm the issue.
3) Condition of returns

Items must be returned in the original condition you received them, including any dust jackets and extras.

Please pack securely. If a return is damaged in transit due to poor packing, we may reduce or refuse the refund.
4) How to start a return

We’ll send the return address and simple instructions.

Post the item back within 14 days of authorisation and share the tracking number.
5) Who pays return postage

Change of mind on unsigned books: You cover return shipping.

Our error or product fault: We cover return shipping or reimburse reasonable costs. Please keep the receipt.
6) Refunds

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and checking the return.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a fault.
7) Exchanges

For damaged/defective or incorrect items, you can choose an exchange instead of a refund, subject to stock.
8) Cancellations & pre-orders

Unsigned books: You can cancel before dispatch. If already shipped, please follow the returns process.

Signed/personalised books: Once the signing/personalisation has begun, cancellation isn’t possible unless we haven’t started and you contact us quickly.

Pre-orders: We’ll ship when stock lands. You can cancel unsigned pre-orders any time before dispatch.
9) Digital or bundled items

Digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered.

If your signed book came with a bundle, the whole bundle must be returned unless we agree otherwise.
10) International orders

Mark returns as “Customer Return – No Commercial Value.”

Any customs duties or taxes we incur due to incorrect labelling may be deducted from your refund.
11) Lost or stolen parcels

If tracking shows delivered but you can’t find the parcel, check with neighbours and your local depot. If still missing, contact us within 7 days. We’ll help investigate with the carrier.
Legal note for UK/EU customers
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you usually have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases. However, customised items like signed or personalised books are exempt from this right, except where the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Tracking

Tracking may take 24–48 hours to update after pickup.
Split shipments
If part of your order is a pre-order or requires extra signing time, we may ship items separately at no extra cost so you get available books sooner.
Delivery issues
Marked delivered but not received: Check with household members, neighbours, and your local carrier branch. If still missing after 2 business days, email us.
Damaged in transit: Contact us within 7 days with your order number and clear photos of the item, the packaging, and the shipping label. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund.
Lost in transit: If tracking has no movement for 7 business days (US) or 20 business days (international), we’ll file a carrier claim and make it right.
Signature confirmation & insurance
For higher-value orders [e.g., $150+], we may require a signature on delivery.
Additional shipping insurance is available on request. Tell us before checkout.
Holiday peaks & weather delays
Heavy carrier volumes or severe weather can add time. We’ll ship promptly and keep you posted if carriers announce delays.
Packaging
Books ship in protective mailers or book boxes. We avoid excess plastic where possible.
